Teaching farms are genuine farms who welcome schools and groups of interest and were born from the need for direct communication between the farmer and the citizen, and the need to find additional forms of income; do not forget that nowadays the industry is the one that operates the processing of agricultural products as well as the communication with the consumer

Teaching farms  represent a moment of connection between city and countryside, a means of direct communication between the farmer and the citizen, starting with the younger generation, to make known the life of animals, the origin of the products we consume, stimulating the critical spirit and curiosity

 

A way for young people to discover the social and economic importance of a job that is often underestimated.

Farm visits are valuable opportunities for learning and growing and thus to enhance both the farming community and the school autonomy.
